Genevieve A. (Zayance) Guman

Genevieve A. "Genny" Guman, age 87 of Grindstone, PA passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.

She was born on January 9, 1937 in Brownsville, PA to the late John and Mary Opela Zayance.

She was a member of St. Cecilia R.C. Church of Grindstone and the Christian Mother's.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casinos, and listening to her Polkas.

Genevieve was predeceased by her husband,  Andrew John (Rocky) Guman,

and several sisters and a brother.

Genevieve is survived by four children,  Andrea Meyers and husband Gregory,

Cynthia Evans and husband Charles, Carol Guman,  Andrew Joseph Guman;

three grandsons,  Joshua and Derek Evans, Daniel Meyers; her sister:  Valeria DeSalvo.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Monday from 3-8PM and on Tuesday until 9:30AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia R.C. Church Grindstone, PA with The Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre as celebrant.  Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
