Obituary

Cindy Lou (Popiesh) Jacobs, age 59, of West Brownsville, PA passed away peacefully on Monday Evening, September 23, 2019 with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was born on September 22, 1960 in Brownsville, PA
Daughter of Ida Mae (Mattie) Popiesh and the late Andrew Popiesh, Sr.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her son: Danny Neil, Jr.
Sister: Sherry Lynn Bloom
Niece: Ashley (Popiesh) Barcus

Cindy was a wonderful homemaker, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and took great care of her mother, Ida.

Cindy is survived by her mother: Ida Mae (Mattie) Popiesh
Her husband of 36 years: John S. Jacobs
Daughter: Nicole Fuller
4 grandchildren: Jayden Lancaster, John Lancaster, Makayla Popiesh,
and Danny Neil, III
1 great-grandson: Dominic Christner
Brothers and sisters: Andrew Popiesh, Jr and wife Liotta
Ida Guerra
Bernie Popiesh
Linda Mersky and husband Rick
Anthony Popiesh and Marium
Kenneth Popiesh and Angela
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.

Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Friday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and on Saturday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM where a Blessing Service will be held with Rev. Fr. Thumma Fathimareddy officiating. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.

As a slightly older resident of West Brownsville, I had the pleasure of watching a lot of the kids grow up and become adults. It was a joy to see Cindy mature to a adult. She was a asset that many in our community treasure. I pray she is in Heaven with the family and friends that passed before her.....George Czapp
