Condolence: Harry was a good friend loved just stopping by and talking to him he truly loved his family and racing and if you were a friend you were truly a friend i will miss him rest in peace my friend
Condolence: A wonderful man who headed up a wonderful family. His phrase on I believe a Camaro “real race cars needs repaired after each race” caught my eye when I met him in 1976. I lost my pops 31 years ago and miss him daily. God bless Harry and the whole family. Job well done and now your eternal riches await my friend. Will miss Tom and dad visiting all the pits. Ollie Stephan and family
Condolence: Upon hearing of the passing of Harry there is now an empty spot in my heart.I met Harry forty five years ago at the age of fifteen while visiting a school friend and my life has been better for it since.
So many good times in the evenings at the old garage next to the barber shop(I still have undercoating under my finger nails from scrapping it off of a couple of race car builds) the evenings down Bill Hartleys garage and at the current garage.
Even as a teenager, and a young adult Harry always treated me as an equal and he taught me more about life then he did about cars.
I could go on and on, but the world is less of place without him in it.
My deepest sympathy to your family.
Condolence: The mention of the ‘ridiculous number of Irish nieces and nephews’ made me laugh out loud just as my Uncle Harry often did. He was a larger than life presence that I will always remember dearly. God bless his wonderful family.
