Katherine S.  Klawiter (Skerski)
Katherine S. Klawiter, age 92, of Chesterton, IN and formerly of Rowes Run, PA passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Addison Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Chesterton, IN.

She was born on May 11, 1925 in Rowes Run, PA to Peter and Julia (Laska) Skerski, both of whom preceded her in death.

Katherine was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a former member of St. Cecilia R.C. Church of Grindstone, PA
She enjoyed going to Blue Chip Casino, playing Bingo, doing scratch-off tickets, cooking, and needlework. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Edward Klawiter
2 sisters: Helen Richards and Beulah Skerski

Katherine is survived by her children:
Stanley (Barbara) Klawiter - Chesterton, IN
Gerald (Sandy) Klawiter - Twin Lake, MI

Grandchildren: Michelle (Yale) Chisko - Chesterton, IN
Andrew (Jennifer) Klawiter - Hobart, IN
Great-Grandchildren: Danielle and Abigayle Chisko - Chesterton, IN
Eve, Avery, Aiden, Everett, Arya, and Ethan Klawiter - Hobart, IN

Brother: Walter (Charlotte) Skerski - Jacksonville, NC
Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM and on Saturday until 9:30AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia R.C. Church - Grindstone, PA with the Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Kruthaupt as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
