Frank E.  Durst
Frank E. Durst, age 86, of McClellandtown, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 23, 1932 in Uniontown, PA to the late John and Rosie Porterfield Durst, Sr.
He attended the Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown.
Frank served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict; he graduated from German Township High School Class of 1950 and retired in 1994 from Blacksville Consol Mine.
Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Leah Fowler Durst,
three daughters, Phyllis Durst of Smithfield,
Sharon Wesolowsky and husband James of McClellandtown, PA
Nadine Durst of Masontown.
three grandchildren, Drew Dirda, Jessica Wesolowsky and Madalyn Dirda
former son-in-law, Andrew Dirda, III,
brother, Gene Durst and wife Linda
stepbrother, William Schradel and wife Debbie
three sisters in-law, Eleanor Durst, Joy Durst and Jolene Durst,
brother-in-law, Paul Metts,
and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by sisters, Waneda Metts and Ada Forsythe
brothers, J.E. Durst, Leonard Durst and Ray Durst and nephew Barry Durst
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 680 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, PA on Friday from 2 - 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Brian Kelley and Rev. Roger Yeager officiating. Interment in Jacob Lutheran Cemetery.
