Obituary for James P. "Fudda" Famularo

James P. (Fudda) Famularo, Sr. age 86, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Saturday evening, April 7, 2018 at his home with all of his family at his side.

He was born on November 11, 1931 in Brownsville, PA
Son of the late Gennaro Famularo and Rose (Peleggi) Famularo McCoy.

Jim was a member of The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA
Sons of Italy Frank Ricco Lodge, and Brownsville Eagles.
He was a Veteran of The Korean Conflict serving with The United States Navy.

Jim was retired from Hillman Barge where he worked as a welder. He also worked part-time as a Funeral Home Assistant with Skirpan Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Jill (Famularo) Wible
Brothers and sisters: Nicholas Famularo, Walter Famularo, William McCoy, Jr., Virginia Zetty, Frances Pearson, and Rose DeFabbo
Step-father: William McCoy, Sr.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years: Jane A. (Ryan) Famularo
2 children: Janine Rechichar and husband Bruce - Adah, PA
James P. Famularo, Jr. and wife Paula - Bridgeville, PA
Son-in-law: Randall Wible - Brownsville, PA
6 grandchildren: Craig Rechichar and wife Dr. Monica; Jason Rechichar and wife Tessa; Joshua Famularo; Christina Famularo; Tyler Wible; and Trenton Wible
4 great-grandchildren: Lena, Owen, Eva, and Colton Rechichar
Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA today, Monday from 2-8PM and on Tuesday until 9:30AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at The Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. Timothy J. Kruthaupt as celebrant.
Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park where full Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Posts #295, #940, #838, and #275.
