Betty Ann  Duratz
Betty Ann Duratz, age 87, of Grindstone, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018, which was her brother Doc's Birthday.

She was born on October 21, 1930 in Grindstone, PA
Daughter of the late Donald Dominik and Vera (Addis) Duratz

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Donald L. (Doc) Duratz in 2009.

For over 30 years, Betty worked at Saby's Store in Grindstone. She always greeted her customers with a gracious smile, kind words, and a genuine spirit of kindness and love.

Betty is survived by her sister-in-law: Sophia (DellaPenna) Duratz and her extended family: Carla, Carl, Amy, Nettie, Vince, and Pam DellaPenna; Katie, Carl, Jr., Christina (Cotton), Anthony, and Caleb DellaPenna

Also survived by many dear cousins and friends whom she cherished.

The family would like to thank Troy and Heather Pellick and Miya Mirken for their kindness and care for Betty over the past few years.

Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Thursday from 2-8PM and on Friday until 9:30AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia R.C. Church - Grindstone, PA with Rev. Fr. Alvin Cabungcal as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
The Parish Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 6:00PM at the funeral home.
